Reeves Golf Course

Reeves Golf Course provides golfers with wide fairways in a traditional layout and small elevated greens that add some challenge to the game. Reeves has everything to offer the golfer learning for the first time to the golfer looking for a challenge with our 18 Hole Course, 9 Hole Par 3, foot golf course, and a state of the art driving range.

Reeves Driving Range offers 20+ astro turf mats, natural grass tees, and Toptracer Range.

 

Reeves Golf Course Adult Programs

NEW for 2024 - Reeves Golf Course will be offering three adult programs. The two Breaking Bad series, one a full swing series and the other a short game series.

Breaking Bad Series

Breaking Bad Full Swing Series—This is a six-week long program starting with biomechanic measurements leading to proper grip, correct setup and posture, development of the backswing path, correct post position, proper sequence of lateral shift rotation to vertical lift, and ground force reaction. The second half of the series is focused on course play and transferring the full swing to the course.

Breaking Bad Short Game Series—This is a six-week long program starting with biomechanic measurements leading to proper grip, correct setup and posture, development of the backswing path, correct post position, and proper sequence of lateral shift rotation to vertical lift. The second half of the series is focused on short game course play, situational shots, transferring the short game shots to the course, and using the correct shot at the right time.

Pga Hope Program

PGA Hope Program - In this special program, PGA HOPE trained golf professionals introduces golf to Veterans and Active Duty Military to enhance their physical, mental, social and emotional well-being. The program introduces the game of golf through biomechanics in a 6-8 week series, led by PGA Professionals trained in adaptive golf. The programs is funded by PGA REACH and SOPGA Section, so the cost of programming is free to all Veterans.

PGA Junior League Golf is a “Little League” atmosphere for the game of golf. With teams of boys and girls, age 13 to 10, PGA Junior League Golf provides a structured environment utilizing a team scramble format for young golfers of all skill levels to compete and have fun. All participants play in each regular season competition from May-June. This is a great way to get, and keep, kids involved in the game!

The league will most likely have 40-48 players representing several CRC golf courses forming and competing against PGA Jr League teams from Great Parks golf courses and CRC golf courses. Each practice focuses on instruction on a specific area of the game or on golf course management. The goal is to prepare for success on the weekend, and this was repeated for 6 or 7 consecutive weeks!

Reeves Junior Summer League

The 2024 Junior League at Reeves Golf Course has four different divisions to accommodate golfers ages 7-17. Each division in the league features seven separate events, and players also earn points towards a "Player of the Year" award. They are held on Wednesdays during the months of June and July.


Pee wee Division

The Little Linkers introduces youngsters ages 7-9 to playing the golf course and keeping score. Each event is played over three to five holes on the Par 3 course, with the emphasis placed on learning and having fun. Players in this division should have an adult willing to walk with the group.


Par-3 Nine Hole Division

This division is for beginner level players ages 10-14 that want to compete in a low pressure environment. All of the events are held on the Par 3 course with short distance holes.


Regulation Nine Hole Division

This division is for moderately experienced players ages 10-14 that are ready to play a longer, more challenging course. All events are played from the red tees on the Regulation Course.


18 hole Tour Division

The Tour Division is for golfers age 12-17 who are serious about learning to compete in tournaments and/or want to play on a school team. Entry fee includes lunch ticket. Starting times are assigned by the golf professional and will generally be between 11 a.m. - 2 p.m.

Junior ms program

The MS Program is for middle school junior golfers aged 11-14 who are playing or planning on playing middle school golf. Extensive coverage on the full swing and short game fundamentals through biomechanics. As well as the introduction of basic on the course management at Reeves and  California Golf Courses. We will also work on mental game preparation, rules of golf while on the course, pace of play, and how to compete at the middle school level.

The lead instructor is 2022-2023 Youth Player Development Award Recipient and a middle school golf coach for a local team.

Junior hs program

The HS Program is designed for middle school kids heading to high school or current high school golfers aged 14-18. These are kids who are playing or planning on playing high school golf in 2024.

The program is full of detailed instruction on the full swing through biomechanics, short game mechanics, short game shots, trouble shots, putting, drills, on course play at various locations, fitness, and mental game preparations.

When we are on the golf course we will be working on situational shots, course management, how to compete in tournaments, rules of golf, and the purpose of nutrition.

The lead instructor played competitively in college, caddied professionally, a biomechanics teacher, and still plays professionally.

Reeves golf course Summer junior Golf Camps

The Junior Summer Camps are 4-day camps covering all aspects of the game. We will cover putting, chipping, pitching, full swing irons, full swing drivers, on the course short game shots, guidance on how to move around a golf course, and a final day of 9 hole play. This camp is designed for ages 7-15 and groups will be divided based upon age, but friend groups can be grouped together. School teams from all over the area enroll their students in these camps and even get friends interested in golf to attend.

Reeves Golf Course - Tryout Boot Camp

This program helps prepare kids for high school tryouts. We cover the mechanics, but it is more about first tee expectations and how to play their tryout course. It is a two-day bootcamp designed to help prepare “last minute” juniors near the end of July that haven’t had a lot time to prepare for your upcoming tryouts. This very popular two day program will help get them prepared and show them what to focus on for the remaining couple of weeks before tryouts.
